Playing Dress-Up: Inspiration: Emma Pillsbury!

When Glee first began production, I was pretty excited. (I heard about this show a loooong time ago, folks. My school’s show choir filmed a few numbers for the pilot two years ago, so everyone at good ol’ WHS was thrilled about Glee before the first commercials ever aired!) It was one of those rare tv shows that I automatically expected to enjoy, considering my love of all things musical and high school dramedy-ish. And luckily, Glee has not disappointed! I am quickly becoming obsessed with it!! :D But my absolute favorite part about Glee is the ridiculously cute teacher Emma Pillsbury, played by Jayma Mays! That wide-eyed, obsessive compulsive little ray of sunshine never fails to brighten my Wednesday nights with a much-needed burst of adorableness! What’s not to love about her? I mean, first of all, she’s relatable. Well, to me, at least. What with the obsessive compulsive behavior and the weird quirks and whatnot. She makes me proud to be odd! And second of all, there’s her wardrobe! OH, her wardrobe!! :D In all honesty, I need to find out the name of the person in charge of Glee’s wardrobe department, so I can become that person’s new best friend, and then betray their trust by raiding the studio’s closets in the middle of the night while wearing a (bedazzled) ski mask. Before I rush off to go eat frozen yogurt and drink tea (I have a cold, so both of these things are very necessary), I will leave you with a new Dressing Up With Kellie outfit pic! Today, I tried my hand at mixing bright colors just like Miss Emma, and this was the result! I think it's rather cute! :) (Though I'm certain that Emma would never wear a *gasp* lol I think the Zooey entry brings in a lot of people who were randomly searching on Google and whatnot. I've heard from a few different people now that they've come here through searching for Zooey! :D That's my favorite post I've done, so I'm glad that it's the first thing lots of people read when they come here!
