Ray and I were high school sweethearts and dated for five years before we became engaged. Ray proposed one Sunday morning while we were lounging around the house. I was sitting at the computer desk when I heard Ray tell our dog Niro to go find me. A few moments later Niro came trotting into the room and came right over to me. He had something sparkly hanging from around his collar and I quickly realized what it was. Ray came in the room after him, took the ring from around Niro’s collar and got down on one knee. He wasn’t even able to get the words out because I plowed him over with a big hug and lots of kisses.
