Alleged crime leaves girl injured
A TEENAGE girl learnt the hard way there's a high price to pay for smashing the windows of shops.
The 17-year-old Grafton girl is alleged to have kicked in the front window of Lasting Impressions Bridal and Formal Wear at 80 Prince St, Grafton, about 2.30am on Saturday, but received severe lacerations to her right calf muscle as a result.
Grafton Police duty officer Inspector Murray Gillett said the girl was allegedly well affected by alcohol at the time of the incident and was remorseful.
The girl, he said, was still to be formally interviewed.
Lasting Impressions owner Leah Stevenson said she was called out about 3am and had to arrange a glazier to repair the front window.

She wears hideous fake teeth at a wedding, does a terrible impression of a British accent and kills her sexy cool factor after donning a luscious dress by convulsing through a lame dance routine. Awkward and eccentric, she also suffers
